Emal Ismail is the Technology & Digital Operations Specialist at Networks for Training and Development. He has been working in information technology since graduating from the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF) in 2020. He also completed a MicroMasters in Data Science through UC San Diego (UCSanDiegoX).

Emal is interested in practical uses of technology and data to support people and improve everyday systems. His research in public information systems and data science explores how data can improve service delivery, decision-making, and accessibility.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing chess and soccer, going to the gym, and spending quality time with his family.
