Maya Angelou’s quotes come to me when I think of Networks, especially, “When you get, give. When you learn, teach.”
But what resonates most with me, is watching a movie with Patti, a woman I supported through the Communication Mentor course. The movie was Spider-Man; the tagline: “with great power, comes great responsibility”. Patti and I looked at each other and I said “Networks” and she emphatically lit up the room with her smile and agreed. Rosa, Jess, Joe and the Networks team taught us to “notice what we notice” and to use our voices so that those without a “voice” can be heard. Thank you, Networks, for giving every time you get and teaching every time you learn.
